Prior to joining MidCap Financial, Mr. Humes was a Director in the Specialty Finance Group of Hovde Group, where he originated and executed merger and acquisition transactions and structured and placed capital for specialty finance companies. Mr. Humes co-founded Hovde’s Specialty Finance Group in 2017 and previously was a Senior Vice President in the Financial Institutions Group of Houlihan Lokey. Mr. Humes began his career at Milestone Advisors, which was acquired by Houlihan Lokey in 2012. Mr. Humes holds a BS in economics with concentrations in finance and marketing from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.
