Steve Tucci is responsible for sourcing senior loans for MidCap Financial in the West Coast markets. Mr. Tucci has over 35 years’ experience in commercial real estate, having most recently served as an Executive Vice President for CBRE Debt and Equity Finance group specializing in arranging complex structured finance loans and joint venture opportunities.
Previously, he was a Managing Director for NXT Capital, where he was responsible for originating debt and equity for the western United States. Prior to NXT Capital, Mr. Tucci was with Merrill Lynch Capital, where he was responsible for an originations team of seven professionals that generated a broad range of structured finance products, including high leverage floating rate senior loans, construction loans, mezzanine loans, preferred equity and joint ventures. During his career, he has worked for GE Capital Real Estate, Heller Financial, and Wells Fargo Bank. Mr. Tucci has guided the funding of over $2.5 billion for the acquisition, refinance, and construction for multiple property types, including office, multifamily, condos, industrial, mobile home parks, and retail shopping centers. Mr. Tucci is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a BS in finance.
