Michael Levin serves as MidCap Financial’s Chief Strategy Officer. Prior to MidCap Financial, Michael was a Partner in Apollo Global Management’s Credit Business where he was involved with MidCap Financial as well as a number of other platforms for ten years. Prior to joining Apollo in 2015, Mr. Levin served as a variety of roles at MidCap Financial prior to founding it’s Lender Finance credit business in 2014.
From 2008 to 2014, Mr. Levin held numerous roles at MidCap Financial, including serving as MidCap Financial’s Chief Strategy Officer from 2012 to 2014. Prior to joining MidCap Financial, Mr. Levin was a Vice President in the healthcare real estate platform for Merrill Lynch Capital. Prior to Merrill Lynch, he held various positions in Arthur Andersen’s global corporate finance group. Mr. Levin holds a BS in economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.
