As Deputy Chief Investment Officer, Josh is integrally involved in the evaluation and oversight of each investment made by MidCap Financial. Prior to his current role as Deputy CIO, Josh was a Managing Director & Team Leader in the Financial Sponsors & Leveraged Finance group, directly originating and leading a team that combined for more than $10 billion in debt investments to middle market private-equity backed companies.
Josh has provided financing to middle market companies for more than 20 years. Prior to joining MidCap Financial, Josh was at MCG Capital and CapitalSource, where he underwrote, originated, and managed debt and equity investments. Josh holds an MBA from Georgetown University and a BS from the University of Maryland.
