Prior to joining MidCap Financial, Mr. Gettmann served as a Director and Co-Head of Capital Markets in the Lender Finance Group of AloStar Business Credit. Mr. Gettmann joined AloStar at its inception in 2011 and played a significant role in the growth of both the ABL and Lender Finance businesses.

Prior to joining AloStar, Mr. Gettmann was a Vice President in the Structured Products Group at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, where his responsibilities were primarily focused on structuring and monitoring specialty finance transactions for its $10 billion multi-seller asset backed commercial paper conduit and executing term ABS transactions for a variety of issuers. Mr. Gettmann also spent two years structuring and executing CLO and CDO transactions as a principal business for SunTrust. Mr. Gettmann earned a BS in business management with concentrations in finance and information technology from the Georgia Tech and is a CFA^® charterholder.
