Eric Kammerer is a Managing Director in the Real Estate Lending group and serves as the Head of Real Estate Finance and Syndications Sourcing. Mr. Kammerer has been with MidCap Financial since its inception in 2008.
Mr. Kammerer previously worked for MidCap Financial’s co-founders at Merrill Lynch Capital from 2005 to 2007. Prior to Merrill Lynch Capital, Mr. Kammerer worked in Debt Capital Markets at Banc of America Securities from 1997-2004. Earlier in his career, Mr. Kammerer was a Professional Staff Member of the United States Senate Committee on Appropriations and a Legislative Aide to Congressman Bill Emerson. Mr. Kammerer earned an MBA with honors from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University and a BA in political science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
