Analyst / Associate for Leveraged Lending Group
Reports To: Vice President
Position Type: Full Time (hire ASAP)
Job Location: Los Angeles, CA
Job Description: The Analyst or Associate will join the Leveraged Finance & Financial Sponsors underwriting team in Los Angeles. He/she will focus on executing transactions. Responsibilities will include negotiating legal documentation, running transaction closings, and managing underwriting processes. A strong candidate will have experience in analyzing leveraged lending transactions, building financial models, preparing projection case scenarios, conducting financial due diligence, and preparing initial deal review and credit memorandums.
- 1 to 4 years of experience in leveraged lending, investment banking, private equity, or accounting.
- Understanding of legal documentation is preferred.
- Strong credit analysis skillset & meaningful underwriting experience.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently, assuming a high level of responsibility and accountability.
- Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record.
- Strong desire to live in Los Angeles, CA
