Melissa Morrison is a Managing Director in the Financial Sponsors & Leveraged Finance group where she is responsible for sourcing and underwriting senior and junior capital transactions for middle market companies backed by leading private equity firms, Family Offices, and non-sponsored companies.
Ms. Morrison has nearly 20 years of experience in finance, and prior to joining MidCap Financial, was an Executive Director in the Leveraged Finance Group at Nomura in London. Previously, Ms. Morrison held roles at Enclude in Washington, D.C., and at Barclays and Lehman in New York in the Consumer/Retail Group. Ms. Morrison holds a BA magna cum laude in economics and mathematics (Phi Beta Kappa) from Williams College, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
