Prior to joining MidCap Financial, Mr. Mourant was on the deal team at Galway Sustainable Capital, a specialty finance company where he worked on a variety of investments in renewable energy and decarbonization. Before that role, he served as an underwriter at the WIFIA program at the US EPA, acting as the deal lead for over $2 billion in loans supporting water and wastewater infrastructure across the country.

Mr. Mourant holds a MA in International Relations with a specialization in Development Finance from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. He graduated with honors, and a BA with a double major in Economics and Political Science from the University of Florida; summa cum laude. Mr. Mourant is a CFA Charterholder.
